Good morning Aurora Central High School. Here are your announcements for TODAY!!!
Students, as you should now know, there are expectations for the year:
All students are expected to arrive to school on time.
It is the expectation of the school that all students are in their assigned classes, on time, prepared to learn, every day.
Students and staff… This week, the Deans, Campus Monitors, and Administrators will be conducting a series of accountability walks. Staff please refer to your email from Mr. Ventura. Students, don’t get caught up in the accountability walks; be in class, every class, on time, prepared to learn.
Also Students… Aurora Central High School is a closed campus for lunch. You are not to leave the building during your lunch period. However, if the student body wants to collectively pull together and earn an open campus on a Friday for lunch… Aurora Central needs to achieve the mark that Dr. Roberts announced to students during the grade level assemblies of 94% school-wide attendance.
Again, for Aurora Central High School to earn an open campus for a Friday lunch the entire school needs to be at 94% attendance.
Students, if you ride a bike to school, please park your bike in the designated area by the Student Entrance. If your bike is not in the designated area, you will receive a warning and be asked to park it in the correct area. If it continues to be a problem, further consequences will be determined. Thank you for your attention and cooperation in this matter.
Students: Do you need to recover credits? If so then come to Room 372 on Tuesdays or Thursdays afterschool to get back on track for on-time graduation! You can get help with class credits you need.

ACHS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged electronic devices. This includes devices that have been confiscated by staff. We reserve the right NOT to investigate these incidents.
It is critical that all students arrive on time and prepared to every class, every day. Tardies will result in detentions and possible suspensions.
All ACHS students found on another school’s property without ACHS supervision will be ticketed by School Resource Officers for Trespassing. Do not get a trespassing ticket. Stay off of other school properties.
It is an expectation that all students be respectful of ACHS and pick up after yourself. Pick up your trash. Throw it away.
